Mission
The mission of the Bernards Township Municipal Alliance is
to provide consultation, programs, training, and resources
to members of the Bernards Township community with the goal
of preventing and reducing the use of alcohol, tobacco, and
other drugs.
History
The Bernards Township Municipal Alliance Against
Substance Abuse was founded in 1991, and is a township
committee-appointed volunteer-based coalition of concerned
leaders who support tobacco, alcohol, and drug prevention
efforts in the community.
Goals

To educate about the damaging and addictive effects
of tobacco, alcohol, and other drugs.

To support events and programs, which provide healthy
alternatives to substance abuse.

To create a community-wide presence in the identification
of problems and in designing solutions.
